Books and Films 2012

One summer on my school holidays I read so many books I won a medal from Corstorphine Library. The medal was on a blue and red striped ribbon and had a bear on it. Receiving this was one of the proudest moments of my life (and perhaps suggested I wasn’t like the other kids).  In order to recreate this moment of greatness I have set myself the challenge to read 50 books this year. When I succeed everyone can buy me an appropriate gift.  Last year I set myself the same challenge and managed a paltry 18 books. The horror see the list. The year before I managed 31. In my defence I did spend 10 months of that year living up Japanese mountains.  To see my list from 2010 see this post from my old journal. Listing the movies I have watched serves no purpose.

I am always looking for recommendations for good books and films so please leave me a comment with any suggestions.
